A Cloudy Bay provides a much sunnier experience than her name suggests. This sleek and lush yacht is perfect for both those looking for action, speed and adventure and those looking for a more slow-paced chilled out holiday. This yacht, also known as the Sunseeker Manhattan 73, is still super fresh having only been first built in 2012. Her unique and slick style, both on the exterior and interior, is the epic craftwork and design of Sunseeker and Sunseeker in house.
This yacht, although based in the beautiful Trogir, Croatia, cruises elegantly around much of the Mediterranean and West Med. Some of her main operating areas include Albania, Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Catalonia, Corsica, Costa del Sol, Croatia, French Riviera & Monaco, Greece- Aegean/ Cyclades Sea, Greece-Ionian Sea, Italy (North and mainland), Sardinia, Sicily, Malta, Montenegro, Provence Coast & Marseille, Slovenia and Venice.
The interior of this Sunseeker Manhattan 73 is clean, contemporary and fresh. It creates an atmosphere in which people can easily switch off, unwind and enjoy a relaxing, care free experience on board. The salon features two large white sofas around a coffee table, the ideal spot to bring family and friends together. There are large windows all around where one can take in the stunning views from both outside and inside the vessel. The salon also has a spacious dining area where skilled chefs can prepare delicious meals and platters tailored to guest’s preferences.
The vessel can comfortably sleep 9 guests as it holds 4 charming cabins, each as homely yet plush as the next. The cabin configuration consists of three double cabins, each possessing a large double bed and a twin cabin which holds two single beds. Each of the cabins has TV’s which are connected to Apple Universal Ipod docks and a Bose entertainment surround Soundsystem.
The outdoor set up of this yacht is just as impressive as the interior. The aft features a spacious lounge area and picnic table where guests can either bask in the sun or cool off and snooze in the shade. The flybridge is also home to a cheerful and welcoming chill-out zone which offers the perfect spot for sight-seeing. For those sun worshippers eager to top up their tan whilst on board, the front of the yacht features a luxurious leather lounging area and is the perfect sun trap.
This yacht is known to be quite the weapon as she can reach the maximum speed of 32 knots per hour. Her engines and generators are top of the range MTU 12V 2000 M94 1622hp. What’s even more impressive about the internal make up of this Sunseeker Manhattan 73, is that she is the only of the Manhattan 73’s that is fitted with the larger MTU engines available on the market, as well as a hard top, two generators, fin stabilizers, two JMS and a water maker.
As mentioned, A Cloudy Bay is the ideal vessel for all those adrenaline junkies. Her extensive list of toys is every “child-at-heart’s” dream. This includes water skis, a wakeboard, a towable Ringo, a lazy Lagoon and two Seabobs with a fast charge.
