Role Overview:
We are seeking a Accounts & Book-Keeping Coordinator who can manage administrative and bookkeeping tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our operations, supporting our CEO, and liasing with the company accountant.
Legal Requirements:
European passport and the right to work in France.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping Duties:
- Process and track payments and invoices.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
- Prepare monthly accounts for submission to the accountant.
- Work closely with the company’s accountant.
- Provide regular financial reports to the CEO.
- Manage all payments related to the yachts we manage for charter.
Strategic Decision Making:
- Collaborate with the CEO to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth.
- Provide insightful financial analysis to inform strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
- Track financial performance against sales goals and growth objectives, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for expansion.
- Oversee budget preparation and ensure alignment with the company’s strategic priorities.
- Monitor expenditures and financial transactions, ensuring compliance with budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist in setting sales targets and tracking progress toward achieving them.
Office Management:
- Ensure the smooth running of the office.
- Act as the main point of contact for maintenance, mailing, shipping, ordering supplies, equipment, and bills.
- Organise and maintain filing systems (both physical and electronic).
- Assist the CEO with personal tasks, administrative duties, and contracts.
Skills and Requirements:
- Must be fluent in English. Fluency in French is desirable.
- Minimum one year of relevant work experience.
- Experience in the luxury, travel, rental, or complementary industries is desirable.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, initiative, and resourcefulness.
- Detail-oriented and highly attentive.
